About the assignment We are currently looking for a unit manager for the project and management unit within the real estate function at our client in Härryda, Gothenburg. The assignment is expected to start on 2026-02-02 and last for 8 months. The assignment is full-time (100%) and the work should primarily be performed on-site. This is a consultancy assignment through us at Bemannia.

Your responsibilities

As the unit manager for the project and management unit within the real estate function, you will lead and develop the unit with 10 employees and ensure that the unit delivers according to assignments and goals. You will also handle the following tasks:

• Budget and financial responsibility for the unit

• Personnel responsibility including recruitment, skills development, and work environment

• Strategic planning and prioritization of projects and maintenance measures

• Collaboration with other units and operations within the organization

• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in procurements and projects

• Reporting and follow-up to the immediate manager

• Participate in the management group for the real estate function

Your qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction technology, real estate science, building economics, urban development, or similar) or other relevant education

• Long and extensive experience in the field

• At least 3-5 years of documented experience in personnel management

• At least 5 years of experience in the real estate industry, preferably from the public sector

• Experience in budget responsibility and financial management

• Experience in project management and follow-up of construction projects

• Experience in public procurement according to LOU/LUF

• Driving license B

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience in property management within the public sector (municipal operations)

• Experience in collaboration with various operations (preschool, school, elderly care, etc.)

• Experience in systematic maintenance work and maintenance planning

• Knowledge of property-related IT systems
